Terms of Service
Effective 30 August 2026 · Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Zufan LLC for your use of Enagach. The most important thing in this document is section 5: Enagach keeps a record of money, it never holds or moves your money. Please read that part even if you read nothing else.

1. Your agreement with us
By creating an Enagach account or using the Enagach app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Enagach. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of this agreement.
2. Who we are
Enagach is built and operated by Zufan LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company formed in Texas, United States. "Enagach" is our product name; the company behind it is Zufan LLC. You can reach us at info@enagach.com.
3. Who can use Enagach
You must be at least 16 years old to use Enagach. By using it you confirm that you are, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you are not barred from using the service under any applicable law.
4. Your account
- You sign in with your phone number or your email address. We send a one-time code; anyone with access to that code and your device can reach your account, so keep your device secure.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Please keep one account per person. Creating accounts to misrepresent who owes what is a breach of these terms.
- Tell us promptly at info@enagach.com if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You can also sign out of a device at any time in Settings → Security.
5. What Enagach is — and what it is not
Enagach is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank, a payment service, a money transmitter, an escrow service, or a lender.
We never hold, receive, transfer, or take custody of your money. When you settle a balance, the money moves directly between you and the other person, using cash, your bank, or a payment provider such as Telebirr. Enagach only writes down that it happened.
It follows that:
- Debts recorded in Enagach are between you and the other people in your group. Zufan LLC is not a party to them. We do not lend money, guarantee repayment, collect debts, or act on anyone's behalf.
- We cannot make anyone pay you, and we cannot reverse a payment that happened in the real world. Marking something as reversed in the app changes the record, not the money.
- Nothing in Enagach is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. If a shared expense has tax or legal consequences for you, please speak to a professional.
- A record in Enagach is not by itself a legally binding acknowledgement of debt. Whether an obligation exists between you and another person is a matter between the two of you and the law that applies to you.
6. Balances, accuracy and disputes
Enagach calculates balances from what you and the other members of your group enter. We take that arithmetic seriously and test it carefully, but the numbers can only ever be as accurate as the information put in.
- Check before you pay. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that an amount is right before you hand over money.
- Any member of a group can add, edit or delete an expense in that group. Enagach records who did what, so you can see the history.
- Disagreements about who owes what are between the members of the group. We are not the referee, and we cannot decide who is right.
- If you believe Enagach has calculated something incorrectly — as opposed to someone having entered it incorrectly — please tell us at info@enagach.com or through "Report a problem" in the app, and we will investigate.
7. Recording a payment
When you record that you paid someone, Enagach creates a claim that becomes part of the shared record once the other person confirms it. When someone records that they received money from you, that is applied straight away.
Recording a payment in Enagach is a statement by a person, not a verification by us. We do not check that money actually moved. Confirming a payment you did not receive is your decision and your risk; treat a confirmation the same way you would treat signing a receipt.
8. Telebirr and other payment providers
In-app payment through Telebirr is not currently enabled. Where the app lets you record a "Telebirr" or "bank transfer" payment today, that is simply a note you write about a payment you made outside Enagach.
If we enable in-app payment in future, that payment is processed by the provider, not by us, and is governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for a provider's service, fees, delays, or failures.
9. Adding other people
Enagach lets you add people to a group — from your contacts, or by typing a name for someone who is not on Enagach. When you do, you confirm that you are entitled to add them and to record their name, their share of an expense, and — if you link one — their phone number or email address. Please only add people who are genuinely part of the expense, and use a name they would recognise as their own.
If someone asks you to remove them from a group, please do so. If you cannot, write to us at info@enagach.com.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into Enagach — group names, expense descriptions, comments, receipt photos, your profile photo and bio.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content solely in order to run Enagach for you and the people you share groups with. We do not use your content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not show it to anyone outside your groups. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful.
11. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Use Enagach to record, disguise or facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful transaction.
- Enter information you know to be false in order to make someone appear to owe money they do not owe.
- Harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or use another person's phone number or identity.
- Attempt to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
- Probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or work around its security or rate limits.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or copy the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Resell, sublicense or offer Enagach as your own service.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
12. Fees
Enagach is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in future. If we do, we will tell you clearly before you are charged, and paid features will always be optional to buy. Nothing you have already recorded will be put behind a paywall.
Any purchase made through the App Store or Google Play is also subject to Apple's or Google's terms, and any refund is handled under their policies.
13. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Enagach available and correct, but it is a free service provided without any uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may stop offering Enagach altogether. If we plan to shut the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to retrieve your data — the app can already export a group's history.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
Enagach is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the records it holds are complete or accurate, since they depend on what users enter.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zufan LLC will not be liable for:
- Money you did or did not pay another person, or any debt that goes unpaid.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill.
- Anything caused by another user, including inaccurate entries, false confirmations, or a dispute between group members.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to Enagach is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Zufan LLC against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of Enagach, or your infringement of someone else's rights — including a claim by a person you added to a group.
17. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent, and it is blocked while any group balance involving you is unresolved, while a payment is pending, or while you are a group's only owner — so that nobody is left with a balance they cannot resolve. What happens to your information afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 5, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 19 continue to apply after your account ends.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or by notification before it takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Enagach after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, please delete your account.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Let's try to sort it out first. If you have a problem with Enagach, please email info@enagach.com and give us 30 days to resolve it with you. Most things can be fixed this way.
If we cannot resolve it, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. There is no mandatory arbitration and no class-action waiver in these terms.
If you are a consumer resident outside the United States, this section does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
